Maintaining Long-standing links
Melcofin & Co. maintains long-standing links to selective family-owned businesses and larger family offices in German-speaking Europe, France and in selective Anglo-Saxon countries such as the UK and South Africa. We do have a strong understanding of the factors that drive family-owned businesses and family-led investment companies, as well as the values inherently linked to such families.
Arranging co-investments
We help arrange discreet co-investments between a few “like-minded families” and help them leverage of different networks and complementary sector expertise. We also advise family-owned businesses on private and discreet M&A transactions. Finally, creating links between family-offices / family-owned businesses from different countries involved in long-term family planning’s and engaged in non-profit related projects (e.g. art, philanthropy) forms part of family-related activities we support.
