Div Geeringh
-Educated in Business Communication CA (SA)
followed by an AMP at Harvard. Following his career with City Merchant
Bank and Standard Bank Group SA in the eighties became MD and later Executive
Chairman of Standard Merchant Bank. Moved to parent Stanbic and got involved
in strategy as well as sitting on subsidiary boards in Nigeria, Ghana,
Uganda, Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe. In May 1998 Div Geeringh joined the
board of Gensec Bank and was appointed Vice Chairman in 2002. He is member
of the Board of Business Partners Ltd, Global Technology, Eskom Enterprises
Ltd and United Plantations Africa Ltd.
