Michel
Biegala, was born in France. After senior management positions at the
Schneider Group and Perrier, he was appointed as Chief Executive of the 3i
Group in France in 1982 as well as Managing Director of 3i Continental Europe.
Michel Biegala was elected Chairman of AFIC (French Venture Capital
Association) in 1991. In 1993 he joined Morgan Grenfell and served as Managing
Director of the French merchant banking activities and was subsequently
appointed as Chairman and Chief Executive of Morgan Grenfell's private equity
activities in France. He is presently serving as non-executive Chairman for a
number of financial services companies. Michel Biegala is a graduate in
business law and economics and holds an MBA (INSEAD).
